Larry has returned to The Angeletti Group bringing four decades of front-line and consulting experiences to serve prospective clients. He most recently served as Vice President for Advancement at Wells College in Aurora, New York, surpassing all fundraising goals including two years during an international pandemic.

Prior to Wells, Larry served as Senior Vice President of Cone Health, a six-hospital health system in Greensboro, North Carolina. He began his tenure at Cone as the interim chief development officer whose primary challenge was to bring about a philanthropic cultural transformation to position the health system as one of the signature essential charities in the region.

At the beginning of his career, following his graduation from St. Lawrence University, he returned to his other alma mater, Deerfield Academy, where he led one of the first million dollar Annual Fund programs among independent schools, which at that time outpaced many collegiate programs.

After a few years in advertising, marketing and sales in New York, Larry joined one of the country’s leading fundraising consulting firms where he learned the intricacies of Campaign design and management. He led or completed Campaigns for the University of Montana, Morristown Memorial Hospital, and The Floating Hospital.

Larry then had a long tenure at Yale University. He designed and led a Campaign to build the Children’s Hospital at Yale-New Haven and helped complete a $285 million Campaign for the Yale School of Medicine which was part of the first billion dollar-plus Campaign in the nation.

After Yale, Larry went to Wesleyan University where he led one of three regional teams. His team raised $75 million of their $250 million Campaign. He then re-joined some of his former Yale colleagues at Vanderbilt University to help raise half of the University’s $1.25 billion Campaign for the Medical Center.

Larry and his fiancé Linda Gifford reside in Skaneateles, New York where they enjoy the picturesque Finger Lakes region and local wines.
