
Kathy McNamara
Vice President, Client Partnerships
Kathy’s decades-long career has been dedicated to advancement and communications/marketing in education and nonprofit organizations. She has deep experience in fundraising, strategic planning, and board development.
Most recently, Kathy has raised millions of dollars for Cape Cod Community College, as chief executive officer of the College’s nonprofit Foundation. She managed a successful $10 million campaign to support the construction of the science & engineering center at the community college. Public funding covered a portion but, the capital campaign was essential to the project.
Kathy earned a bachelor’s degree in English at the College of the Holy Cross where, many years later, she built and managed the communications/marketing office, partnering with the college’s advancement office on a capital campaign, and the admissions office on branding research & strategy and publications development.
Kathy also worked at a Washington, DC independent school as director of admissions and communications, and later served as executive director of a charter public school.
She earned a certificate in nonprofit management and leadership from the Tisch College at Tufts University.
An active volunteer with several nonprofit organizations, Kathy and her husband have three adult daughters, and enjoy walking with their dogs.
