Jehanne Anabtawi

Jehanne has a diverse professional background including university teaching, publishing, editing, management consulting, and philanthropy. Jehanne has been writing and editing throughout her career across a wide range of disciplines, from academic consulting to copywriting and editorial work.
Prior to her time in academia, Jehanne was an associate consultant at Bain and Company in San Francisco. Jehanne also worked as a copywriter for J. Crew. After teaching philosophy as an assistant professor at Pace University in New York City, she became director of new media and acquisitions editor at Seven Bridges Press, which published academic and scholarly works in philosophy and religious studies. Jehanne lived in London for several years, where she was a freelance contributor to Focus Magazine.
Jehanne’s volunteer activities include work with New Canaan Country School, Thomas’s School (London), Save the Children, and refugee support. She currently serves on the Board of the Blossom Hill Foundation in Connecticut.
Jehanne received her Ph.D. in philosophy from Stanford University, where she was a Mellon Fellow, and her B.A. from Pomona College.
