Elissa Cordrey is currently a writer and development consultant with over 15 years’ experience in non-profit fundraising. Her professional experience is centered on the education sector. Her most recent experience was at The Winston School of Short Hills as the Director of Institutional Advancement. Prior to Winston, she served as the Director of Development at the American Red Cross, Summit/Short Hills Chapter.

Elissa started her professional career in public relations at a boutique firm specializing in the home and arts, representing product lines for design innovators including Paloma Picasso, Ralph Lauren and Pierre Deux. She transitioned to writing for local magazines and eventually segued into development. She has served on numerous community boards in Summit NJ, focusing on education/athletics and infrastructure.

Elissa currently resides in Sea Girt, NJ and enjoys spending time playing racquet sports and bridge, entertaining family and making frequent visits to NYC to attend dance performance and visit her children.
