Nonprofit Executive Search

The broad scope of TAG’s collective experience provides us with a full understanding of the specific requirements and functions of key positions in education, the arts, healthcare, and social services. We provide our clients with a complete range of executive search services from the beginning of a search to its completion. Each search is regarded as a new challenge and is never handled routinely. We develop a carefully focused program to achieve your objectives.

Interim Staffing & Leadership

Whether a leadership transition or turnover of development staff, our team of highly qualified and experienced consultants stands ready to continue the momentum of your fundraising program and provide leadership and direction to your team. Our solutions are highly customizable to meet your needs and ensure a smooth transition for your organization.

Coaching & Professional Development

TAG’s extensive fundraising experience lends itself to personalized coaching for all of your fundraisers—from the most senior leader to individual gift officers. TAG offers a hands-on boot camp for learning, honing, and applying the skills necessary for success. These sessions can be designed to meet your team’s needs and include one-on-one as well as group coaching.

Leadership Performance & Compensation Evaluations

TAG’s Leadership Performance & Compensation Evaluation (LPCE) equips your organization with a proven process to evaluate your executive leader and the effectiveness of the organization as a whole.

The LPCE begins with the executive’s self-evaluation and submission of data to initiate an analysis, as defined by TAG’s proprietary Leadership Appraisal tools. A subcommittee of Board members is formed to evaluate the executive’s core competencies in areas including communication, leadership, and strategic priorities.

Benchmarking against national industry standards and compensation analytics follows, facilitated by a TAG Practice Leader, who compiles comparative data to give you a clear picture of where the organization stacks up. A comprehensive report is generated that serves as the basis for compensation, goals, and–where appropriate–contract renewal. The process concludes with final approvals provided by the Board and a debrief of the process to enhance future evaluations.
