In 2006, eight land trusts merged to form a stronger and more effective land conservation organization: Western Land Conservancy (the Land Conservancy). To date, the Land Conservancy has permanently conserved more than 52,000 acres across its 22-county service region, including 220+ working farms as well as 150+ public parks and preserves. The Angeletti Group was engaged in 2017 to conduct a feasibility study and, in turn, manage the organization’s historic fundraising campaign to support campaign to Conserve, Connect and Sustain natural lands, parks, innovative trails, keystone properties and farmlands as well as crucial urban and reforestation initiatives. TAG helped staff and volunteer leadership to identify prospects and secure transformative gifts; the campaign’s quiet phase produced more seven-figure gifts than ever before in the organization’s history.
